1. How do we know which classes to register for?
We are happy to help you and your dancer(s) with choosing appropriate class placement. This will depend on age, dance experience and interest in participating in dance competitions. Class placement is up to the instructor’s discretion.
2. Do I need to take ballet?
It is required that dancers take ballet in order to be competitive in lyrical, contemporary, or jazz.
3. Is there a minimum number of dancers required for a class to run?
There is a minimum number of 4 registrations required to run the class. If we do not meet this number the class will be cancelled.
4. What is the attendance policy?
Please refer to the student handbook (coming soon) for more details.
Attendance is important for continuous improvement in each genre. If the dancer is missing more than 1 class a month in a registered class, the instructor will be reaching out to the family and working on a plan for continued success.. If attendance continues to be an issue, there is possibility of removal from the class.
5. Will my dancer(s) be attending dance competitions?
Competition is a great performance opportunity and a way for dancers to build confidence and make friends. All dancers levels 2 and up will attend dance competitions which take place in April and May of 2025. All groups will perform in our year end recital!
6. What should I wear to dance class?
